To celebrate the launch of Fire Emblem Fates, Nintendo recently held a hugely successful preview event in downtown Toronto at the historic St. James Cathedral. The theme was “Choose Your Path” and gave eager fans a chance to play the two versions of the game—Birthright and Conquest—to help them decide on their preferred path. While there, I had the rare opportunity to interview Chiko Bird from Nintendo’s Treehouse to learn what gamers can expect from these hugely anticipated games.

 EA has confirmed that NHL 17 is on its way this fall to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This year you, the fans, will determine the next cover athlete for the game via a three round voting process on now. Click through to learn all the details!

It may arguably have been the best game to come out on the PlayStation 3, getting praise like it being the “Citizen Kane” of video games. It’s high praise, but the Last of Us was a very different and very special game at a time where we were craving something new, and something unique.  At E3 2016, I had a chance to play the first 15 minutes of Nintendo’s upcoming adventure game The Legend of Zelda: The Wild Breath, and it was even more epic than I had imagined. A sprawling open world, the most gorgeous graphics I’ve ever seen for a Wii U, and fascinating new gameplay are only the beginning. This is Zelda like we’ve never seen before, yet at the same time stays true to this beloved franchise. Here are my early impressions of this 2017 title:
